Portfolio long list

About

My software engineering career began with a job at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA as a programmer in the office for institutional research. Following that, from 1988 to 1999, I worked as a software engineer at Bank of America where, for most of those years, I designed, developed, maintained, and supported numerous PC client-server applications for BankCard service centers (including “PhotoCard”, with thousands of accounts processed per week), using a variety of technologies but primarily Visual C++/MFC, C, Attachmate Personal Client/HLLAPI/APPC, and Btrieve.

Then, starting in 2000 and up through 2024, my software work was primarily web development for various companies in various industries and environments (including Wells Fargo Bank, The Kessler Group, Bio-Rad, Petersen Dean Roofing, Teachscape, Kodak Gallery, Zend, Lending Tree, and Pragmatic), where I produced both frontend and database-interfacing code using a wide variety of technologies but primarily HTML5, CSS, Javascript/JQuery, PHP/Mysql, Photoshop, and WordPress.

Throughout my software engineering career, many projects also included design work, testing, maintenance, and documentation.

Now semi-retired, I am open to occasional projects, especially for individuals and non-profit organizations.
